5/10/2004 - Went up the Dolan Branch Trail past some overlooks, past the Tree Canopy Observation Tower and on out the road to the transmission towers. Bushwhacked down to the Azalea Trail following it down to the lake and past some of the wildlife viewing areas.
3/20/2005 - Checked out Dolan Branch Falls, the lake and some of the animals.
11/10/2007 - A long one today, something I'd been wanting to do for a long time. 6.8 miles from Bays Mountain to Laurel Run. Lake Road to Lakeside Trail to Cherry Knobs Trail to Lake Road through Feagins Gap to Back Hollow Road to Pretty Ridge Trail to Kiner Hollow Trail to Laurel Run Trail.
5/10/2008 - Hiked clockwise around the lake including a trip up to the lookout tower.
11/5/2011 - Through-hiked to Laurel Run Park again, via Front Hollow this time.
