Bear Den Creek and Falls are not official names, USGS maps show no name for the creek. Locally that's what it's known as though. Bear Den, Stinking, and one other unnamed creek join right as they feed into Cove Creek. The terrain is very steep in the area with the creeks being an almost continual cascade down the mountainside.

1/8/2005 - Checked out falls on Bear Den and Stinking creeks after being told by my father and family members about them.

2/27/2005 - Took Bill and Emmett to Bear Den and Stinking Creek falls today. We circled around further up on Stinking Creek but found nothing new but STEEP ground.

4/5/2009 - Hadn't been here in a while and wanted to check out a small falls after recent rains.
