Ramsey Cascades 

Ramsey is a cascading waterfall roughly 100ft in height in the Greenbrier area of the GSMNP. It's a 4mi fairly strenuous hike that goes through a great old growth section of forest about midway. Info HERE
I didn't yet own a digital camera at this point and the pics are from an APS camera. Not quite 35MM and I wasn't as snap-happy yet...

9/2003 - Hiked to the falls. Great trail, good bridges, huge trees along the way, awesome waterfall...

Didnt see any bears but there was a fair amount of evidence of their presence.
