Rock Creek Falls

A roughly 2-mile hike to Rock Creek Falls in Erwin TN. Details HERE and HERE

5/29/2004 - Hiked to the falls on a HOT day. Wow the breeze and water mist off the falls make the temp there feel much cooler than a bit down the trail.

Some of the creek crossings have a log to walk on and steel cable for support. Notice how this one has killed the tree it's attached to though.

Interesting little spring beside the trail.

Some of the slickest wet/moss-covered rocks I've seen on a trail. Pay very close attention to where you're stepping or you'll twist an ankle.
