Spruce Flats Falls

Spruce Flats Falls is a series of falls and cascades in the Tremont area of the park. The trail is accessed from the Smoky Mountain Institute at Tremont. Other falls both up and downstream as well as Honey Cove Falls in the area. Info HERE

9/20/2004 - Hiked to the main falls but took the wrong side trail and didn't make it to the upper falls or Honey Cove. Maybe next time...

Trailhead begins at the end of a short paved road section at the Smoky Mountain Institute at Tremont

The entire trail isn't this rocky but parts are. A lot of it is also on a fairly steep hillside.
