Jones Falls

Jones Falls is a 100' cascading and free-falling waterfall in eastern Carter County, TN. It is accessed via a short side-trail off of the AT. Access points to the AT can be from Campbell Hollow Road, Walnut Mountain Road or via some bushwhacking from Elk Falls just across the border in NC. Info HERE

9/10/2004 - Visited Jones Falls by finding where the AT crossed Campbell Hollow Road and parking close by. Went on down to the Elk River to view what the recent flooding had been like.

After about 1.5mi on the AT a .1mi side trail leads to Jones Falls

The side trail also has a spring with reliable water for AT hikers
